proactive versus reactive!

i.write.

proactive versus reactive. chapter 1- 7 habits.

being proactive isn't just about making iniative or decising things. being proactive is about taking full responsibility of all the decisions you make in your life. responsibility compose of tho words: response-ability. the ability to response to those things that revolves around you.

on the other hand, reactive is (how do i explain this..) is opposite to proactive. reactive people is different than proactive people. being reactive would include things like: you do not response appropriately towards things around you, not being able to rake responsibility of things you've decided, reacts to the environment inappropriately, being too influenced by the environment. if the environment full of negative atmosphere such as anger or hatred and bla2, these reactive people might absorb these and act just like these atmosphere. a walking negative atmosphere (scary..:P ) anyway.

there this one line stated in the book, interesting. it says, while reactive people 'become' or 'turn into' their surrounding and soak in their surrounding, proactive people (like always. la al ala ) carry with them their OWN atmosphere/environment. no matter how bad their environment turn out to be, proactive people maintain jek and still cool. proactive people carry with them nice atmosphere and not being negatively influenced by their negative surrounding. herm. nice isn't it. let us all carry our own weather!our own nice weather!

enough quoting the book.
anyway, i've only read the first chapter of it, so i dun hv enough authority YET, to really comment on things. so far, not so boring at least they don't focus much on business minded people (which is not me) like they did with the 8th habit book. i like the book in the way it try to focus on you, yourself. because i believe, that's where we should start correcting things. individuals.

by the way, i've tried to find victims at home. i need to find sumone, who i can teach-everyday, all those things i read in the book. (not that i'm that keen, the book asked me to do so. they say, you'll see things you read things DIFFERENTLY when you have to teach those things you read to other people. herm. couldnt agree more. teacher minded people are different than student minded people. can I be both? (I should be both as if i have choice. tara lalalala)
